The dance between memory~present, feelings~impressions, perceptions…the visual world of color & form. Finding the way to it’s truest imagery. I apply mediums with various tools and layer applications of acrylics; often blending in additional pigments. After pondering and process, applications of pastel continue to evolve. Pastels require a sensitive inquiry, listening to “what the painting wants to say”. Layering materials continues until all mediums have interfaced compatibly. We hope that these images bring the viewer to a colorful serene place, where beauty resides in Nature.
